Mark Geist talks with TV Time Machine radio host Jim Benson about the film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, which tells the heroic story of he and his fellow soldiers defending the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya, against a terrorist attack, on September 11, 2012.
In this audio edition of the TV Time Machine, we welcome Mark Geist, whose heroic story is told in the film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Mr. Geist is a U.S. Marine veteran, having served for twelve years, which included service in the 2nd Battalion 9th Marines Golf Company, as well as the Surveillance and Target Acquisition Platoon.
Over the next audio segment, Mark Geist talks about the incredible bravery of he and his fellow soldiers, as they battled incredible odds on September 11, 2012, defending the American Embassy in Benghazi Libya against a terrorist attack, helping to save the lives of more than twenty-five Americans.
