For over four years, What’s My Line? Live on Stage was performed in Los Angeles and New York. Hosted by J. Keith Van Straaten and directed by Jim Newman, the live performance followed the format of the classic TV game show that ran for over 25 years on both CBS-TV and in syndication.

In this TV Time Machine interview, host Jim Benson welcomes the aforementioned gentlemen (in the forms of J. Keith Van Straaten and Jim Newman) as they explore the elements that made What’s My Line? Live on Stage a unique experience for devotees of classic TV and improvisational comedy.
