In this edition of TV Time Machine, host Jim Benson interviews Leonard Stern-writer, director and executive producer of the classic TV spy spoof Get Smart. Over the course of his remarkable career, Mr. Stern has written for such legendary series as The Honeymooners, Sergeant Bilko, and The Steve Allen Show.

At the height of the 1960’s spy craze, Get Smart made its debut and ultimately stumbled its way into classic television history. For five seasons on NBC and CBS, Agents 86 and 99 (played by Don Adams and Barbara Feldon) took CONTROL, combating the evil criminal organization known as KAOS.

In this audio interview, Leonard Stern helps us relive virtually every aspect of this classic TV series, and also discusses the Get Smart DVD set and the 2008 film starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway.
